1. Acceptance of these Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you ("you," "your," or "User") and Good Life Insurance Group ("Good Life," "we," "us," or "our"), operating at 1201 S Alma School Road, Unit 12-200, Mesa, AZ 85210. By accessing, browsing, or using goodlifeinsurancegroup.com or any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our TCPA Disclosure. If you do not agree, do not use our site or services.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age and a resident of the United States to use our services. We provide insurance brokerage services only in states where we hold an active license — currently Arizona, Texas, Nevada, Colorado, Florida, and Georgia. Submitting a form represents your assertion that you meet these eligibility requirements.
3. Description of services
Good Life is an independent insurance brokerage. The services we provide through this site include:
- Distribution of a complimentary Will Kit (educational documents — not legally binding final estate-planning instruments).
- Insurance education content and articles in our Learn section.
- Coverage calculators and comparison tools.
- Quote facilitation and application submission to A.M. Best A-rated insurance carriers, when authorized by you.
- Customer support by phone, email, video, and (when available) in-person consultations.
We do not underwrite insurance, issue policies, set premiums, or pay claims. Those functions are performed by the licensed insurance carriers we are appointed with, each of which has its own contracts and policies.
4. Not legal, financial, tax, or insurance advice
Content on this site is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. It is not:
- Legal advice. The Will Kit is a starter set of templates; it is not a substitute for a final will, trust, or estate plan reviewed by a licensed attorney in your state.
- Tax advice. Statements about tax treatment of life insurance proceeds are general; consult a CPA or tax attorney for your specific situation.
- Financial planning advice. We are not registered investment advisers. Statements about coverage strategy are framed around protection needs, not investment performance.
- Insurance advice for any specific case. Specific recommendations, quotes, and applications are provided only after a licensed agent has reviewed your individual situation. Generic statements about "what most people need" are illustrative.
5. No insurance contract through this site
Submitting a contact form, requesting a Will Kit, requesting a quote, or initiating an application does not create an insurance contract and does not bind coverage. Coverage is bound only when:
- You complete a carrier-approved application,
- The issuing carrier formally accepts the application after underwriting,
- You receive the issued policy and pay any required initial premium, and
- The free-look period (if applicable in your state) has passed without rescission.
Quotes provided are estimates based on the information available at the time and are subject to underwriting. Final premium and approval are determined by the carrier, not by us.
6. Information you provide must be accurate
You agree that information you submit through our forms, by phone, or in any other channel is true, accurate, current, and complete to the best of your knowledge. Material misrepresentations on an insurance application can void coverage at claim time. We rely on the information you provide to deliver the Will Kit, quote carriers, and submit applications.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Submit false, misleading, or impersonating information.
- Use our site or services for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.
- Attempt to interfere with the security, availability, or integrity of our site.
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access our site except for legitimate search-engine indexing.
- Submit content that infringes on intellectual property, defames any person, or violates any law.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of our site or services.
- Use any data obtained through our site for unsolicited marketing or list-building purposes.
We may suspend or terminate access to our site for any user who violates these Terms, without prior notice.
8. Intellectual property
All content on this site — including text, graphics, logos, branding, photographs, the Will Kit templates, and the underlying software — is the property of Good Life Insurance Group or its licensors and is protected by United States copyright, trademark, and other applicable intellectual property laws.
You may view and print pages for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, sell, or modify any part of the site or the Will Kit contents for commercial use without our prior written permission.
"Good Life Insurance Group" and the Good Life logo are trademarks of Good Life Insurance Group. Any carrier names, logos, or marks displayed are the property of their respective owners and are used here for identification purposes only.
9. User-submitted content
Where the site permits you to submit content (forms, testimonials, reviews, communications), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual license to use, display, store, and adapt that content for the purpose of operating our services and our marketing. You represent that you have the right to grant that license and that the content does not infringe any third-party rights.
10. Third-party links
Our site may link to third-party websites (carrier sites, state insurance departments, news articles, etc.). We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or any transactions you conduct on them. Linking does not imply endorsement.
11. Communications, SMS Program, and TCPA
11.1 SMS / text-messaging program
Good Life Insurance Group operates a registered A2P 10DLC SMS program (Low Volume Mixed use case — Customer Care and Marketing combined) for U.S. mobile subscribers who have affirmatively opted in through the consent checkbox on a website form. The program is registered with U.S. mobile carriers (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and others) through The Campaign Registry. By opting in, you consent to receive recurring automated text messages from Good Life Insurance Group at the mobile number you provided.
11.2 Types of SMS messages you may receive
The SMS program covers the following message categories:
- Customer care (transactional): Will Kit shipping confirmation, appointment reminders for your 15-minute Will Kit Review, missed-call text-back when our office cannot answer within 30 seconds, quote follow-up, application-status updates after a policy application has been submitted, and replies to inbound text inquiries.
- Marketing: educational content drops (new explainer articles on Will Kit topics, term vs. whole life, VGLI alternatives), VGLI premium-increase reminders ahead of your 5-year rate adjustment, age-band reminders ahead of birthday-driven premium recalculation, and webinar or educational event invitations.
11.3 Message frequency
Message frequency varies based on whether you are in active Will Kit fulfillment, a quote process, or on the educational subscriber list. Typically fewer than four (4) messages per month per active topic. Frequency disclosure is also presented at the moment of consent on every opt-in form.
11.4 Message and data rates
Standard message and data rates set by your wireless carrier may apply to messages you receive. Good Life Insurance Group does not charge a separate fee for SMS messages. Contact your wireless carrier for plan-specific costs.
11.5 How to stop messages — STOP and HELP keywords
You may opt out of SMS messages at any time. Reply STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT to any text message from us. Upon receipt, you will be removed from the active SMS list and will receive one final confirmation message reading: "You have been unsubscribed from Good Life Insurance Group SMS messages and will receive no further messages. Reply HELP for help." After that confirmation, no further marketing or program SMS will be sent unless you re-opt in.
Reply HELP or INFO at any time to receive support information: "Good Life Insurance Group: For help, call 480-823-0510 or email [email protected]. Reply STOP to unsubscribe. Msg & data rates may apply."
11.6 Carrier liability disclaimer
Wireless carriers (including but not limited to AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, US Cellular, and their affiliates) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to network conditions, your wireless plan, your device, and circumstances beyond the carriers' or Good Life Insurance Group's reasonable control. Good Life Insurance Group does not guarantee delivery of any individual message.
11.7 Eligibility
The SMS program is available only to U.S. mobile subscribers age 18 or older residing in a state where Good Life Insurance Group is licensed. You must be the account holder of the mobile number you provide or have express authorization from the account holder to opt in on their behalf.
11.8 Consent is optional
Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of any purchase, of receiving the free Will Kit, or of obtaining a quote. The SMS consent checkbox on our forms is unchecked by default and is not required for form submission. You will receive the Will Kit and any service you have requested whether or not you opt in to SMS.
11.9 No third-party sharing
Mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in consent records, and text-message engagement data are never sold, rented, shared, or otherwise disclosed to any third party or affiliate for their own marketing purposes. See Privacy Policy § 4 (SMS restriction) and TCPA Disclosure § 3.1 (SMS program specifics) for the full restriction and program details.
11.10 Other communication channels
Separate from the SMS program, by providing your phone number and submitting a form you also consent to receive marketing and transactional voice calls and emails from us as described in our TCPA Disclosure. Consent for any of these channels is not a condition of purchase. You may revoke consent at any time as described in the TCPA Disclosure.
12. Call recording
Calls placed to or from numbers managed through our call-tracking provider (CallRail) may be recorded. Arizona is a one-party-consent state. If you call from a state with stricter (two-party) consent requirements, our agents will obtain your verbal consent before recording. See Privacy Policy § 9.
13. Disclaimers of warranties
OUR SITE AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING OUT OF COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT (A) THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE; (B) DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED; (C) THE SITE OR SERVERS THAT MAKE IT AVAILABLE ARE FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS; OR (D) ANY INFORMATION OBTAINED THROUGH THE SITE IS ACCURATE, RELIABLE, COMPLETE, OR TIMELY.
14. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, GOOD LIFE, ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AFFILIATES, AND LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUES, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SITE OR SERVICES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS, THE SITE, OR THE SERVICES EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100) OR (B) THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you.
15. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Good Life and its owners, officers, employees, agents, affiliates, and licensors from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of or access to the site or services; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party right (including intellectual property or privacy); (d) any content you submit; or (e) any misrepresentation made by you on a form or application.
16. Modifications to the site and these Terms
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the site or services at any time without prior notice and without liability. We may also revise these Terms from time to time. The "Effective" date at the top of this page indicates the most recent update. Material changes will be posted prominently and, where required, communicated by email. Your continued use of the site after the effective date of any change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
17. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the site or services at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, the provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive (including IP, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution) will survive.
18. Binding individual arbitration; class action waiver
Please read this section carefully. It limits the way you can resolve disputes with us.
18.1 Agreement to arbitrate
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, the site, or the services — including the breach, termination, validity, interpretation, or enforceability of these Terms — shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by JAMS or the American Arbitration Association ("AAA") under their respective Consumer Arbitration Rules then in effect. The arbitration shall take place in Maricopa County, Arizona, or telephonically/by videoconference at the consumer's option, and shall be conducted in English.
18.2 Class action waiver
You and Good Life agree to bring any dispute in arbitration on an individual basis only — not as a class, collective, consolidated, or representative action. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims and may not preside over any class or representative proceeding. If a court or arbitrator decides this class-action waiver is unenforceable, then the entirety of this Section 18 shall be null and void, but the remainder of these Terms shall remain in full force.
18.3 Exceptions
Nothing in this Section prevents either party from: (a) bringing an individual action in small claims court for any dispute within that court's jurisdiction; (b) seeking injunctive or equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent infringement of intellectual property rights; or (c) filing a complaint with a state insurance department or other regulatory body.
18.4 Opt-out
You may opt out of the arbitration agreement by sending a written notice to [email protected] or to 1201 S Alma School Road, Unit 12-200, Mesa, AZ 85210 within thirty (30) days of first agreeing to these Terms. Your notice must include your full name, the email address you used with us, and a clear statement that you wish to opt out. Opting out will not affect any other terms.
19. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Subject to Section 18 (arbitration), any judicial action arising out of these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
20. Severability and entire agreement
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or severed if it cannot be made enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and TCPA Disclosure, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the site and services and supersede any prior agreements on the same subject matter.
21. Force majeure
We are not responsible for any delay or failure to perform our obligations under these Terms caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including (without limitation) acts of God, war, terrorism, pandemic, internet or utility outages, governmental action, or labor disturbance.
22. Electronic communications and signatures
You consent to receive communications from us electronically, including notices, agreements, and disclosures. Electronic signatures and clickwrap acceptance ("I agree" checkboxes, button clicks, and similar) have the same legal effect as handwritten signatures pursuant to the federal E-Sign Act and applicable state laws.
